State Bank of India has invited applications from eligible Indian Citizens for the recruitment as Probationary Officer.  Selected candidates will be liable to be posted anywhere in India. Applicant who consider eligible for the post is required to register online for the Recruitment Process. Examination will be conducted in two phases Preliminary and Main.

Aspirant qualifying preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination and short listed candidate will be called for a Group Exercises & Interview.

Vacancies reserved for OBC Category are application to OBC Candidates, who belongs to Non Creamy Layer. Candidates belonging creamy layer will indicate as “General”.

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Requirement – (As on 01 July 2017)

Aspirant should have qualified Graduation from the recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates pursuing final semester of Graduation are allowed to apply for the post.

Candidates who have integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD should be on or before 01 July 2017.

Applicant possessing Chartered Accountant qualification may also apply.

Selection Procedure –

Phase I – Preliminary Examination consisting of objective / multiple type questions for 100 marks will be conducted online.

Phase II – Main Examination consisting of multiple type questions for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.

Phase III – Group Excercises (20 marks) and Interview (30 marks)

Emoluments –

Starting Basic pay – Rs. 27,620/- with advance 4 increments in the scale of Rs. 23700 to980/7-30560 – 1145/2-32850-1310.

Age Limitation – (As on 01 April 2017)

Minimum age should be 21 Years and Maximum age should be 30 Years i.e. candidate must have been born not earlier than 02 April 1987 and not later than 01 April 1996.

Age Relaxation –

SC/ST Category – 05 Years

OBC (Non Creamy Layer) – 03 Years

PWD (Person with Disability) – 10 Years

Application Fee – (Non Refundable)

General and Others – Rs. 600/-

SC/ST/PWD – Rs. 100/-

Application fee once submitted will not be refundable in any situation. Submission of fee should be made online via online portal of SBI.
